Today, the inaugural meeting of the National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) Parley Coburn Chapter brought together 56 outstanding student leaders committed to academics, character, attendance, and service.
In partnership with Together for Youth, students helped support Foster Care Awareness Month by preparing “Go Purple” coffee sleeves for local coffee shops.
Members also presented their “Person of Influence” awards to adults who make a meaningful impact in their lives.
We are so proud of this incredible group of Parley Coburn Cougars and look forward to their official induction later this month!

RESOLVED as of 7:05 am-
Update as of 6:30 am on April 30, 2026--External calling in the District is currently unavailable. At this time, we are unable to place outbound calls or receive incoming calls from outside the district. The issue appears to be related to our service provider, and our Phone Team is actively investigating. Internal calling between extensions remains fully operational. Time: Beginning at 4:00 PM
Duration: Approximately 10 minutes
During this time, phone services across the district will be temporarily unavailable.

Thanks to some current Coburn Cougars and Parley League athletes. Also a huge thank you to some of the past Coburn Cougars for coming out to support Coburn and Parley League. We ran the concession stand for Elmira Booster Club tonight. This is a great way to give back to our community, our older athletes but also learn some customer service along the way! We had a blast! Thank you to the Elmira Booster Club for allowing us the opportunity to earn money for Coburn PTO and all of our students here at Coburn!

Pep Rally followed by a very tight 5 and 6 grade All-Star Game!

Parley League Year 2: This year we purchased 50 shirts thanks to the Elmira Booster Club. These students were chosen by their teachers not for being the best athlete or most talented but because they come to school everyday and give their best. Very proud of this group!

Year 2 of Parley League is rolling! We will be finishing up basketball and soon be into spring. We will be offering "Sports-Centers". Our Coburn athletes will move through their choice of soccer, flag football, wiffle ball, kickball and basketball!

Today our students at Parley Coburn experienced something truly unforgettable!
Award-winning PUSH Physical Theatre visited our school, bringing their signature blend of intense athleticism, gravity-defying acrobatics, and soulful artistry to the stage. Students were amazed as performers told powerful stories using only movement, strength, and creativity.
The experience didn’t end with the performance. Our 4th graders had the opportunity to step into the world of physical theatre themselves during hands-on workshops with the artists. They explored movement, teamwork, and storytelling in a completely new way.
Moments like this show students that art can be powerful, expressive, and active all at once. Huge thanks to GST BOCES and PUSH for bringing this incredible experience to our school! #GoExpress

Today we celebrated Social-Emotional Learning with activities focused on kindness, teamwork, and understanding our emotions.
With a little help from Dr. Seuss, we’re reminding students that reading builds both strong minds and strong hearts. ❤️📖
When students feel safe, supported, and connected — they thrive! 🌟
